A most-vertical adventure

On June 7, 2020, Kathy Sullivan became the first woman to dive to the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the Earth’s oceans. Add this most-recent accomplishment to her being the first American woman to walk in space, and there’s no question she’s “the most vertical girl in the world.” It was an honor and a thrill to have something we created – the mission patch – accompany her on this historic dive.
